Brief update of what I did accomplish before the end of the year.



I was introduced to Smn Burns by NiN. But I never actually experienced one for myself.



Which helped me cap DB.


After getting floor 100 saved to my Runic disk I pretty much lived in the Tree.







And last but not least, I finally completed a small goal I set to finish back in September.


Level 100 Alchemy.

I don't know Pelican too well but he sent me a tell one day after reading my LJ. He sent some spare ingredients my way.

So where has Teh gone?

A series of events have caused me to shift my priorities in life. My mother was admitted into the hospital end of October and was recently released mid Jan. She's fine now. She does have a couple conditions that she will live with for the rest of her life but she made what the doctors said was a "miraculous recovery". They did not think they be able to get her off the ventilator. Let alone wean her off the oxygen. She now only needs oxygen for resting and activities that requires more use of her lungs.

When she was admitted from the hospital she had to come live with me for a couple weeks. (That was... fun) Her house was in no condition for her return. The last 3 weeks was spent cleaning and preparing.It was no easy task...

So, more of an explanation on my last post. I used to love FFXI. It was a big part of my life. Now, it's just not the same. Since Voltron's break I haven't had a solid home. I went to Bismarck hoping to change that and then NiN gets ban-hammered. I go back to Leviathan at this point because of Daggoth. He gave me a reason to play again. He was pretty much my only reason to play.

I need to quit this game. It's the only MMO I've ever played. I'm going to update this journal one last time. I have a 2nd journal that will just be dedicated to my real life events. I'm closing this journal and my adventures with Teh.

Thank you for any and all the support I've received over the years on this journal. For those that are still playing FFXI, never forgot your loved ones. (Sound familiar?) Don't take your time with them for granted.  It's a game and I completely understand how it can become more than that for alot of people. Just... make sure to remember to keep your priorities straight.

It's wasn't a bad drive, probably because I was asleep most of it. :p (sorry AJ!) Ohio to Illinois; probably not the worst distance. I heard someone drove all the way from Mexico for this?! Omy.

Things keep happening. Things beyond my control. My mom's been in the hospital with pneumonia, for a month now come Saturday. She's on a ventilator.

I'm trying to stay positive.

My mind has been on everything BUT this game. And because of that I've let a couple people down that were relaying on me. I apologize, I'm not trying to make excuses for myself.

I've cut ties with any and all linkshells I own at this time, expect one social. I don't have the mentality to deal with a week of scheduled events on a game at this time.

It's nice to have people that understand; who believe I'm a nice and honest person.

Here's my kitty in a tub for your enjoyment.

I really hate crafting but lately that, and fishing is all I seem to be in the mood for. (I guess since I can pretty much do it whenever I want and stop whenever I want)

I'm an lolAlchemist. I've been 94 fooooor about a year, before that 93 fooooor about a year aswell.

I've been keeping my mule constantly logged on, so at anytime I can get on and purchase the mats for Pro-Ethers. Sounds kiiiinda pathetic, but HEY it's been working for me.

I did a recipe tonight which I haven't skilled on in years, Panacea (98). Using the Panacea on Platinum Leaves give Platinum nuggets (96). There were 2 stacks on leaves up, which I rarely ever see because gardener's NPC the leaves instead of AHing them... arghdon'tgetmestarted... BUT like I said there 2 were up! And also there were 2 stacks of Philosopher's Stone!

An hour of off and on crafting resulted in this:

I only broke twice. Yaaaaaaaay!

What also makes this syth nice is, on my mule I have Goldsmithing 70. So I can crafting the nuggets into ingots for a little additional profit. yaymoregilforcrafting!

Recently I've been finding myself logging on, staring at my moogle, then logging off. I'm trying to stay interested in the game without burning myself out, but my main reason for playing might become my main reason for quitting. I'll still be around, just won't be playing as often.

I'm a sucker for special events, so dragging Dagg along, I went /dancing and gold fishing!



This quest annoyed the heck outta me last year. <_<  It's was basically impossible to solo this. Thank goodness they fixed it this year. Just need to /cheer and /clap for the Mumor till you faint! :D


After a hour of /clapping /cheering and /dancing our butts of we got our HQ Yukatas!<3 (We're so cute ^-^)
